On Thursday, Ferrell will participate in all eight Cactus League Spring Training games scheduled for that day in Arizona. He will play for various teams and will look to play all nine positions on the field during those eight games. In order to get to the various stadiums on time, Ferrell will travel via helicopter. The stunt is being dedicated to the fight against cancer and will raise money for Stand Up 2 Cancer and Cancer for College. Bert Campaneris a former infielder who is famous for playing all nine positions in a game for the Athletics on September 8th, 1965, will join Ferrell. Funny or Die & MLB Productions are filming the entire thing for an upcoming special on HBO. This won’t be the first time Ferrell will apart of a baseball game either. Back in 2010 and playing the character of Ray “Rojo” Johnson, Ferrell was ejected from a Round Rock Express game after throwing just one pitch for the then triple A Pacific Coast League affiliate of the Houston Astros. Ferrell also famously had a pizza delivered to the mound before throwing the first pitch at Wrigley Field in Chicago for a Cubs game in 2012. Will Ferrell throws out a ceremonial first pitch and eats a slice of Famous Chicago Deep Dish Pizza before the Chicago Cubs Miami Marlins game at Wrigley Field in 2012. People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse of selfish motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies. Succeed Anyway. If you are honest & sincere, people may deceive you. Be Honest and Sincere Anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build It Anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous. Be Happy Anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world your best and it may never be enough. Give it all anyway. It was never for them Anyway. Sim Simon one of the co-creators with Matt Groening of “The Simpsons” has died today. Mr. Simon lost a long hard fought battle with cancer, and is best known for his work on the first 13 episodes of the Simpsons. Many of the writers who worked the early days, considers him to have given the heart and soul to the characters. He made them three dimensional by developing their personalities, and not going from one skit to another. As the longest running series on TV, this small fact had to have had played a roll. The Sam Simon Foundation After he left The Simpsons, the checks kept rolling in, and the vegan decided to start a foundation. The Sam Simon Foundation, feeds the homeless, fights for animal rights, and offers service animals for those in need. Millions of Simon’s own money has been used to fund this foundation, and countless animals have been given new life thanks to it. Daym Drops give Little Caesars New Bacon Wrapped pizza – “Five all Day” So I had never heard of this guy before, and as I am scrolling through my news a friend of mine shared this video. Her title “I ❤ this guy. I suddenly want Little Ceaser’s pizza, and I don’t even care for bacon! He’s my new “review” guy.” I highly respect her opinion, so I had to see what he was all about. Daym Drops Daym Drops is a 30-40 year old black foodie… Using the term “foodie” very loosely, and possibly not in the same context as others might think it should be used. I use it because he likes to eat, and is a food reviewer. What makes him unique is the fact he makes his videos with a dash cam in the drivers seat of his car, and most of his reviews are of food from fast food chain restaurants. His video catalog includes hand held foods from Burger King, Chick-fil-A, KFC, Arby’s, Wendy’s, and Carl Jr. as well as a few places I hadn’t heard of, as well as a couple marked homemade… (still eaten in the car, LOL) He is a very charismatic gentleman, with good humor about him. I am sure you will find this video funny as well as appetizing… About Thomas StrubingerHusband, Father, Foodie, Cardinal Fan. I am just an average joe, trying to make my way in this world.
